Recommended Vaccination Schedule
Puppies
It is recommended that puppies receive their 1st DHPP-CV vaccination between the ages of 6-8 weeks of age and that they continue to receive them every 3-4 weeks for a total of 5 vaccinations. If your dog is greater than 6 months of age when they start their series, they only need a series of 3 DHPP-CV, Rabies and Bordatella. Following is an example of the vaccine protocol for each visit:
*1st Vax DHPP-CV Vaccination
-De-wormer
-Puppy Pack- introduces flea control, parasite preventative,
-Microchipping, and spay/neutering information
-Free bag of food
*2nd Vax DHPP-CV Vaccination
-Bordatella Vaccination
*3rd Vax DHPP-CV Vaccination
-Rabies Vaccination (if 16 weeks or older)
*4th Vax DHPP-CV Vaccination
*5th Vax DHPP-CV Vaccination
Kittens
It is recommended that kittens begin their vaccination series between 6-8 weeks old and that they continue to receive them every 3-4 weeks for a total of 3 vaccinations. If you cat is older than 6 months when they start their series, they only need a series of 2 FVRCP-FeLV, and a Rabies Vaccine. It is also recommended that if you are having you cat boarded at a kennel, they receive a Bordatella vaccination as well. Following is a example of the vaccine protocol for each visit:
*1st Vax FVRCP-FeLV Vaccination
-Dewormer
-Recommend FeLV Test
-Kitten Pack- introduces flea control, parasite prevention,
-Microchipping, and spay/neutering information.
-Free bag of food
*2ndVax FVRCP-FeLV Vaccination
-Recommend FeLV Test ( if not previously done)
*3rd Vax FVRCP-FeLV Vaccination
-Recommend FeLV Test (if not previously done)
-Rabies Vaccination
